Not to be confused with just Jan's Seafood House, Jan's Beach House is known for seafood but has a lot more to offer. I went on a recommendation and the food was great. I got the fish fingers, gouda grits, and spicy fried mac and cheese. Finished with chocolate mousse cake. Tried it a second time over the weekend to confirm consistency and it was even better. I got the chicken bites and fries and a few cocktails from the bar and finished it off with key lime pie. It's definitely a small business owner whose place is worth a visit. Just look for flamingos on the Eastern Blvd.

Stopped by for lunch yesterday because it was close to the job site. I'm glad we did. The food is excellent. It reminds me of what my grandmother would cook. It was so good, we went back for lunch today and we'll probably go back tomorrow for lunch. The prices for what you get are great!! I was so hungry today, I forgot to take a picture of my food. The staff is friendly. We even met a local and we talked about his Air Force days for probably 20 minutes. Everyone is so friendly in Alabama.

Always good food for lunch and dinner. So many favorites can't pick one except maybe the key lime pie that looks like a mini key lime cake. Sweet heat popcorn shrimp appetizer is fantastic. Love the music.

I had a wonderful first time experience today for lunch! Since I’m a truck driver and have to deliver at Sam’s Club in the morning, I looked for some place that was not the everyday food choice and an so glad I found Jan’s Beach House Grill! I was greeted by a delightful smell of Coconut/ beach smell and great food and was seated by a sweet lady and she said she hoped I hadn’t been waiting long. I went into the restroom first to wash my hands before I sat down, and told her that. That decorations and flamingos and beach themed obviously and very tasteful. I was told before I got here that they were closing soon, ( a car dealership made an offer the owners couldn’t refuse) so they would be busy. I came in around 1pm for lunch and indeed they were busy, which means the food is great!!! Right away I noticed the great prices!! I’m sure that’s one of the big draws here!!!! SUPER SERVER Josh greeted me and got my drink order back to me quickly and then I asked him what his favorites were. ( I almost always ask my servers that question) I ordered the grilled fish ( grouper ) fingers and Josh’s favorites green beans and green fried tomatoes!! Within just a few minutes, he returned with my meal exactly as ordered and let me tell you!!!! The grilled fish was perfectly seasoned with the right amount of lemon pepper and the green beans served in a monkey dish were awesome too but the 3 THICK FRIED GREEN TOMATOES were the BOMB!! The best I’ve ever had!! Seasoned and breaded perfectly again, and because they were thick, I could taste the green in the tomato, and the seasoning weren’t to thick that it over powered and it stayed On when I cut it half!!! Deliciousness all around! I wish I lived closer and glad I could make it here . Found out that they’re not closing until APRIL ‘25 because the demolition company is so busy right now!! Good for all the regular patrons of Jan’s in Montgomery!! I’m sure they’re going to be missed!!
